Story
This year, I'm taking part in the 2013 Melbourne Marathon Festival (my first long distance run ever!!) and I'm hoping to raise much needed funds for ovarian cancer research, something that is very close to my heart.
As many of you know, my mother passed away a few months ago from ovarian cancer. It's been the toughest experience in my entire life, but I figured that I should try and do something positive from it. So this year, I'm doing a 10km run with all my fundraising going towards the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
I've never been a runner.
In fact, I went on my first run three weeks ago and almost passed out.
