Running for Pancreatic Cancer Research
Story
I'm running the 2013 Melbourne Marathon and while I'm at it, I would love to raise some much needed funds for the Avner Nahmani Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
A close friend and work colleague is currently defying the odds and surviving Pancreatic Cancer. His battle has brought home how little is known about this dreadful disease and that there is a serious lack of funding and research for a cure.
On October 13th this year I will be pounding the beautiful streets of Melbourne over 42.2km's, finishing at the famous MCG and hopefully with your help and support we can make a contribution to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.
